SUPPORTING THOSE WHO SUPPORT US
TLC Insurance has long been a leader in heavy machinery insurance for the forestry industry, but as many will know, we have an equally strong interest in other heavy machinery sectors.
This includes Civil Construction, Agriculture, Earthmoving & Drainage and General Contracting.
At TLC, sponsorship is a great way of extending our support to some of the industries that support us, last year we became a major associate of CCNZ, the national association for civil construction and engineering in New Zealand.
We are proud to continue to support this association as a major sponsor for another year. With restrictions around Covid now largely behind us, we are looking forward to putting a face to our name at the CCNZ Annual Conference to be held in August in Christchurch, with plans already underway for our tradesite and conference giveaways!
We have also continued our support in the Forestry sector with sponsorship via the contractors’ association FICA – this marks more than a decade of sponsorship for TLC Insurance. We have a huge heart for the forestry industry and know that our sponsorship is appreciated by the sector.
CALL US LOYAL
Our community sponsorship for 2022 again centres around provincial and local rugby, with TLC Insurance continuing our sponsorship of Melville Rugby Club in the Waikato plus the Tasman Provincial Development Squad. We also will be the naming rights sponsor of the King Country Rams for a second season… with high hopes that the team will bring home the trophy in 2022.
AN UPDATE ON THE CLAIMS TEAM
Claims is front and centre of what we do at TLC Insurance.
To continue our high standards, our claims team has had a few changes over the past few months with Mawai being promoted to the position of Claims Team Leader and Senior Claims Handler. As many of you will know, Mawai has worked in the TLC Insurance claims team since 2018 and so she brings tremendous insight and value to the team. We couldn’t think of a better fit to lead the claims department.
Alongside Mawai, we have made an internal appointment with Stacey taking up the role of Claims Handler (Stacey was previously in the underwriting support team). Stacey’s deep knowledge of TLC policies, plus her attention to detail and excellent customer service made her the ideal candidate for this promotion.
Lastly, we want to introduce you to our newest member of the claims team Emma, who joined TLC Insurance in February 2022. Emma had previously worked for the Earthquake Commission and so she brings a level of claims experience and diligence to her new role.
We are confident that these personnel changes will offer you what we always strive to deliver, a gold standard claims experience.
TRANSACTING BUSINESS
It has now been a little over a month since we implemented our new way of transacting business. We are delighted that the new process has effectively improved and streamlined the way that we transact business from start to finish. We would love to hear any feedback on how you are finding this new way of doing things. You can send this to info@tlcinsurance.co.nz
Easter is a time where the team here at TLC are known to overindulge in Easter treats, this year, we thought we would share, so hop on over to our website to see what this is all about!
Until next time, we hope that you have a happy and safe Easter, particularly if you are travelling on the roads.
Kind Regards
Andrew Reid
