Executive Director
Andrew returned to New Zealand in 2020 to join TLC Insurance having underwritten heavy machinery in Australia. He is licenced to operate heavy machinery and brings that knowledge to the table when offering solutions via TLC’s heavy machinery insurance products. As Executive Director, Andrew is dedicated to leading the TLC team, fostering and building relationships with new and existing brokers, and collaborating with our key broking partners to deliver solutions their clients require

Andrew Paterson

Strategic Partnerships Manager 
Andrew has over 20 years of experience in Commercial Insurance, in account management, underwriting and people leader roles. Andrew’s philosophy centres on positive relationships with both brokers and customers. He believes that delivering outcomes and solutions for customers is important as they are really the focus of what insurance is all about.

Tanya Pretorius

Underwriting Development Manager 
Tanya brings a wealth of insurance expertise to TLC Insurance, with over a decade of experience in various roles within the industry. Most recently, she served as a Senior Account Manager for a multinational broker in the Agri & Forestry sector - managing a national portfolio. Joining TLC Insurance as Underwriting Development Manager, Tanya will focus on quoting new business and engaging with brokers throughout New Zealand.
